About the Renegade Band...
The Renegade Band is an ensemble comprised of current BC students and is open to any band or guard members interested in a collegiate athletic band experience. The band meets weekly to prepare for performances at BC Football games and other campus and community events. Together with the Drumline and the Cheer Team, the Renegade Band is here to fight, fight, fight for BC. Go Gades!
About the BC Drumline...
In the fall semester the BC Drumline plays entertainment oriented music and performs at BC Football games and community events. This class is open to all percussionists, and informal auditions occur at the beginning of the school-year.
In the spring semester the BC Drumline rehearses a competitive show and performs both locally and regionally (PPAACC, WGI, etc.). This group is more selective, and the auditions for this ensemble occur in October. There are age restrictions (must be 22 or younger) and other requirements for this ensemble.
Often, members with intermediate experience in drumline will participate in the fall, and depending on their success will advance to the second semester group.
